Is anything sent by post?
No. The vignette is 100% digital and registered to your number plate. There is no sticker and nothing to collect.
Which vehicle category should I choose?
Look at the vehicle category on your registration certificate (field J). Car (D1): passenger car up to 7 seats including the driver and up to 3.5 t (M1), its trailer, or a camper up to 7 seats and 3.5 t. Motorcycle (D1M): motorcycles and scooters (for a yearly pass, choose Car). Van or truck (D2): vans and pickups (N1), any vehicle with 8 seats or more, or a camper over 3.5 t. Trailer or caravan (U): only when towed by a D2 vehicle, which needs its own D2 vignette. Not sure? Ask us before you buy.
Why does the price change with the start date?
A vignette starting today needs top-priority handling, one starting tomorrow needs priority handling, and later dates are standard. You see the exact price before you pay.
Can I change the plate or cancel after paying?
A vignette is tied to its plate and cannot be changed or cancelled once it is registered. Before that, write to us as soon as possible. See our Terms of Sale.
Can I renew automatically?
Yes, on annual vignettes you can tick automatic yearly renewal. It is optional, never pre-ticked, and you can cancel anytime.
When will I get my confirmation?
Starting today (Super urgent): within 24 hours at most. Starting tomorrow (Urgent): within 2 days, before your start date. Later: within 3 days, before your start date. You always get the email as soon as it is registered.
When is my vignette valid from?
From the start date you chose. If it starts today, validity begins when we register it (within 24 hours) and the end date is counted from that moment. The exact dates are in your confirmation email.
What is the eSIM option?
30 days of mobile data for your trip, activated from a link in your email, so you stay online without roaming fees. It is optional and never pre-ticked.
What is the SMS option?
For a small extra fee we also text your confirmation to your mobile, so you can show it if you are stopped.
